TARGET GROUPS
At Giggin’ Policy, our direct target groups are:
- Giggin’ Policy targets young people in general and more specifically those who may be facing adversity in their lives and run the (most) risk of being exploited in the gig economy, e.g. those with relatively low level of education & migrants. Giggin’ Policy advocates the mixing of vulnerable and ‘regular’ youth in the project, ( i.e. peer “buddying”).
- Policy makers, leaders of educational institutions and decision makers from the world of work. These actors are encouraged to involve youth in the design of regional strategies and supported in their efforts to do so (and especially to deal with diversity).
- Intermediate target group such as coordinators/staff of youth organisations, regional/local authorities, educational institutions and NGO’s, all of whom in their day to day jobs have a stake in policy affecting youth.
